Corporate Overview | History
The Tecala Group began life in 1997 as a dedicated business consulting and advisory organisation. It was a time of energy, excitement and change as companies sought to take advantage of the Internet and the arrival of new electronic business processes.
As a small group of senior IT professionals, we were fortunate enough to work with many of Australia’s leading Enterprises and Public companies in developing and executing their IT strategies.
From that background we evolved to incorporate an IT projects division, with many of our clients turning to us for assistance in developing an IT infrastructure or for guidance in their technology projects. By 2005 the merging of business and technology had become a passion for us, and Tecala had evolved to become a comprehensive ICT services organisation, including our first managed services offerings to the market.
Throughout our history our business has experienced consistent double – and at times triple – figure growth. We have established an enviable list of industry credentials and certification levels, as well as government panel and procurement agreements as preferred suppliers. From our long term partnerships with our clients, we have amassed experience in every vertical industry.
Today our offerings include consulting, project management, project professional services, procurement, managed services, and cloud solutions.
The Tecala Group remains owned and operated by our two directors, Gleuto Serafim our CEO, and Pieter DeGunst our Director of Sales and Marketing.
